Sluggin’ Sisters Drop Close One

On Thursday, June 3, the Pembina County Sluggin’ Sisters lost a hard fought battle to MPCG 12-13 at Mayville. Chloe Walton took the loss and I. Peterson got the win for the MayPortCG Team. The game was tight early as the teams were tied after the first with one run apiece.

Senior Citizen Update

Update to Senior Citizen Services The Department of Aging Services is continuing the shut down of congregate meal sites until at least August 1st. Pick up meals are available for all senior citizens age 60 and older. This decision was made to guarantee the safety of senior citizens.

Hillsboro Defeats Pembina County in Cavalier

On Thursday, June 18th Hillsboro Cross-trail Blazers defeated the Pembina County Sluggin’ Sisters 13 to 10 in Cavalier. Lily Crosby took a loss on the mound striking out four and walking 11. Hillsboro pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts but also committed 15 walks.

COVID complicates normal summer fun routine
